Sam Sadigursky

I play the saxophone mostly, but can often be seen with flutes and clarinets as well. I also compose music, mostly based on poetry, and just released an album of compositions called The Words Project on New Amsterdam Records . I am part of number of bands in New York, including Gabe Kahane's group, Folklore Urbano, Coba, Darcy Argue's Secret Society, Pete Robbin's Centric, Gachupin, and occasionally appear with harpist Edmar Castaneda, singer Sofia Koutsivitis, Lucia Pulido, the Mingus Orchestra, and pianist Anat Fort.
