GG was born out of a desire that we had to provide a place where people within the Gothic/Industrial community could come together.

We are connected to so many incredibly talented people, from so many different areas of expertise, from all around the Globe. What was lacking was somewhere that showcased ALL of these things, with all of these wickedly wonderful people.
We also wanted to provide a place where people from around the world, could share ideas and network with other people of like minds.
Our community as a whole has gotten an undeserved slew of bad press over the last few years. The general consensus seems to be that anyone with a penchant for dark music and darker writings must be a baby eating devil worshipper.
I don’t know about you, but I’ve only eaten one baby this week and it was just a wee one.
(Yes, that was a joke.)
The point is that we as a worldwide community have an innumerable amount of varied tastes in music, literature, art, and dress.
I myself have everything in my Poetry collection from Baudelaire to Sage Francis.
I have Platforms right next to my Maryjanes.
I like old Cure as much as I enjoy Telefon Tel Aviv
It’s that diversity that brought us together here at GlobalGothic, and it’s that diversity that will drive the content you will see on GlobalGothic.com in the months to come.
We will feature a new Band, Author, Artist and Hawtie every month.
We will also be reviewing books, movies, music, and fashion.
Expect each month to differ from the last. You’ll see, read, and hear it all here at GlobalGothic.
We want to provide an arena for all of these amazing talents globally to showcase their work.
You’ll see familiar faces and brand new ones. There are so many incredible people out there who don’t get their shot at the spotlight for whatever reason, and their hard work never gets the attention it truly deserves.
We want GG to be part of making that happen for those that work so hard to achieve success.
We want you to be part of making that happen with us.
