About Me

I'm Chris and I run 43MEDIA Productions. Over the past 12 years or so (with a break whilst I lived in New Orleans), 43MEDIA and our old production company (PopAWheelie! Productions) has brought to Pensacola: Avail, Men's Recovery Project, Action Patrol, Mind Over Matter, Les Savvy Fav, AFI, The Vandals, Guttermouth, No Use For A Name, The Promise Ring, Johnny X and the Conspiracy, Earth Crisis, Snapcase, Inquisition, Refused, Strike Anywhere, Good Riddance, Neurosis, Taking Back Sunday, Catch 22, Grade, Schleprock, Mr. T Experience, The Riverdales, J-Church, Over It, Don't Look Down, Every Time I Die, Zoinks, Hose.Got.Cable, Ten Foot Pole, The Suicide Machines, Anti-Flag, Hot Water Music, Cruiserweight, Mic Harrison, theSTART, Senses Fail, Retisonic, The Gadjits, Underoath, Against Me!, Escape Grace, Strike Anywhere, MAE, The Bouncing Souls, Fear Before the March of Flames, Paris Texas, Tsunami Bomb, Weston, Lifetime, Dynamite Boy, Axehandle, Maxeen, The Know How, Horrorpops, MC Chris Karmella's Game, Lucero, Feable Weiner, Rise Against, Mastodon etc... etc... and uh... like literally 300 or so other bands that I can't think of right now... We also put on the sparsely attended, by highly rocking Shocktoberfest and Phoenix-Fest (which included-amongst others: Rev Horton Heat, Southern Culture on the Skids, Teenage Bottlerocket, Wheatus, Acceptance, and like a gajillion other bands). When I lived in New Orleans (as mentioned previously) I did a fanzine called "Gumshoe" and also put out two 7"s by two very great (and very defunct) bands: The Hellbenders (from L.A.) and Ben Grim (from Wisconsin). I also worked for Devil Dolls Productions (which is now Devil Dolls Booking and books for Roger Miret, Horrorpops, Drag The River and tons of other bands... GO DEBORAH!) Aside from that... ask someone else. I think too much. I drink too much. I'd like to not define myself by these sorts of things... but the truth is that if I were to get into anything else, I'd wind up talking about Harry Potter and Bruce Campbell and Jenny Lewis all day... and we don't need that, so there you have it...
