I had my first record deal when i was 12 with Major Minor records, then 2 years later i was signed to Decca records. After that i went on through my teens to have many diffrent deals with ATV Music CBS Records Nashville USA, and many more. I them met a great girl called Miriam Stockley who became a friend and went on to do session work, backing vocals for big stars. I was lucky enough to work with The Bee Gees, Freddie Mercury, Barry Manilow. Cockney Rebel, Cliff Richards, I also worked for the BBC doing vocals on all there musical TV Shows, in between that i did a bit of acting and my only claim to fame there was that i was in Upstairs Downstairs it was a huge TV Show in the seventies and eighties. Anyway i very quickly went back to the love of my life Music. I joined a band called Chaser we were the residant Band at Baileys nightclub in Watford, and what a band we were, i have to say i played with many musicians in my life, but none better than the guys from Chaser, Lloyd Courtney /Drums,,
Nigel Crouch/Keyboards,,Dave Fryer /Bass and the great Terry Murray/Guitar, all the guys went on to have great careers too, especially Terry Murray he emigrated to OZ and had success over many years with his hit records and his own TV show, I havn't seen any of the guys for 28 years but just recently through the power of My Space we have all found one another again and are planning a huge reunion in October. Through my career i can honestly say i have worked with some of the biggest stars in the world, and was very lucky to have had that opportunity. In the late 80s i lived in Paris for a while as i was signed to a major label there and had an album in the Top 5 of the charts, it was an experiance , thats all im gonna say on that one. Also in the year 2000 i released a single under the name of PRIVA it was called Your Givin Me, it reached number 20 in the UK club charts, i had a lot of fun doing that flew to Marbella Spain to film the video for MTV and then hated watching myself on the tele , it was played quite a lot on MTV.
Now im lucky enough to be doing what i love to do and that is still making music , with my husband David. We have our own recording studio and our company is called LEMON SODA MUSIC, we write and produce together, helping young new fresh raw talent, to further there careers. Its great .. giving them all my years of experiance, and watching them grow. At the moment we have produced some great new artists , MY GIRLS/ NATALIE BRETTELL/ MICHAEL MCPHERSON/ LAURA LOBLACK, check them out on My Space. I am also happy to announce that David and I are currently working with Mr Woo and James (le rock) Loughrey, T, Gramz and Hush Hush Records New York, on My Girls tracks . They are up on My Girls, My Space page. I would also like to announce that My Girls are doing a collaboration with THE VILL from LA. THE VILL is currently working and recording with THE GAME and has his own single coming out soon its a collaboration with THA GAME,called WELCOME TO CALIFORNIA, but he has took some time out to do a track with MY GIRLS, called MOVE ON OVER you can hear it on the My Girls my space page. Also we have been very lucky to have Rob Harris (JK, KYLIE, ANASTASIA) Play his wicked guitar on all the My Girls tracks
