About Primal State
Primal State are a female fronted heavy metal band, combining old-school raw metal with punchy rap vocals, killer guitar riffs and funky bass-lines.
The band was founded over ten years ago by Jay Moore, 24 (drums) and Tom Stedman, 25 (guitar). They began playing music together at school, and quickly progressed to writing and recording. They went through several changes of line-up and genre, before they were joined four years ago by Rozi Adam, 23 (lead-vocals) and Bert Nurse, 23 (bass), who wanted to join after seeing a live performance of a previous incarnation of the band. From these four members the music became more consistent, and developed into the current style. The most recent member is Ben Hayward, 17 (guitar), who after only 18 months has quickly begun to put his mark on the music.
We have signed to A Wolf At Your Door Records!!
Today (18/07/07) Primal State (formerlyVital Signs) Met with record label executives Kevin Horak and Neely K Vee from A Wolf At Your Door Records. We are pleased to announce that they made us an offer and that we have accepted. We will now be heading into the studio to professionally record a 3 track single to be released on A Wolf At Your Door Records later in the year. We are very happy to be working with AWAYDR (Its taken a long time to get here!) and they have given us the chance we need!. But other than thanking the label for their belief in us as a band we want to take this opportunity to thank the people who really made this all possible the fans! (And I know its Cliché and cheesy) but your support of the band really has brought us to this level, your dedication gives us drive and we truly love you for it.Now the hard work really begins!Upcoming shows
