My main interest is Martial Arts, I have been studying Kempo Ju-Jitsu for 14 years. I also practise Judo and Submission wrestling at the Crewe Judo/ Ren Bu Kai Club. I train MMA with Oswestry Free Fighters and Bai Lang MMA and have started BJJ at Gracie Barra Walsall. I have competed in a number of grappling and Judo competitions and done quite well, I've done some amater mma and as soon as I get decent at stand up will go into semi-pro mma. I also appreciate all Martial Arts and love to learn anything. I also train alot with my brother now he's gettin older and good at dishing out a beating too he has also won a number of national grappling competitions and will be a force to be reakoned with in the future.
My other main interest is my guitar, my influences come from Steve Vai, Michael Angelo Batio, Joe Satriani, John Petrucci and Paul gilbert to name a few.
My first band was Systematic Deception back in College in Wem, we were an alternative/rock band but we played loads of different songs from metal to funk we played a few gigs around Shropshire and other areas until uni called for some members and we dispanded. After leaving College I was out of bands for about a year until I formed metal band Ownd with some friends from around Whitchurch, we did a bunch of local and some none local shows, I left the band this year after we were pretty much inactive for a number of months, the band is still going and are in my top friends. I also played a couple of gigs with other local bands filling in last year, I did a few short stints in other bands but never got going for one reason or another. Most recently I joined locally well established Rap/Melodic Metal band Primal state after a guitarist position opened, I've done a few gigs with them and we are looking to write a bunch of new material and take the local music scene by storm.
