Stage 1 ShowcaseBan The Dawn
The fifth band of the night was Oswestry based four-piece Ban The Dawn. A tidy mix of classic and contemporary Rock from a band with an abundance of energy and ideas, it was an impressive performance that ranked amongst the strongest of the evening. April’s a great front-woman – confident, engaging and delivering a powerful and haunting vocal performance that drives their sound forward. Elsewhere the band played with ability and precision across a wide range of well-written material that showed they are a band with some real potential.
