It's Always Something - Rosanne Rosannadanna

About Me

I'm a retired teacher of history, political science and psychology. Now I write here what I jokingly refer to as comedy, along with poetry, movie reviews and an occasional serious observation. I also have a comedian page which promotes my budding and belated career in standup comedy. (www.myspace.com/karmuhcomedian). Third, I have a wild-in-the-woods page where my libido runs a little warmer (www.myspace.com/funnyriter). And lastly, there is a strictly personal and family journal (bob-and-nan.livejournal.com/profile). When not engaged with family or writing activities, I do a little merchanting. I am also using MySpace to promote individuals and groups in the field of entertainment who impress me as deserving more recognition. Fat lot of good it will do them. Whenever possible, I also work on several larger scale nonfiction projects, including a picture book using old 3-d photographs to illustrate American culture 130 years ago, an illustrated biography on the biggest producer of 3-d images from the same time period, and an American history textbook from a Libertarian perspective. I know what you're thinking: Borrring!

Beyond that, I most enjoy "History Detectives," "If Walls Could Talk," PBS' "Mystery," good poker programs, Alton Brown's cooking shows, humorist Carlos Mencia's "Mind of Mencia," and the "Headlines" segment of the "Tonight Show."
