About Me

After spending 15 years in sales management (and dreaming of doing something else) the chance arose nearly 2 years ago when I started teacher training. I am now, officially, a qualified Teacher of Business Studies As a friend once said "It's no wonder the country is xxxxxx!".My inspiration through all this comes from my family - without their love and support I couldn't imagine being able to complete my training.Other than that I think this MySpace page kind of gives away my passions in life - music and rugby.No matter how hard I try I am basically stuck in a 1980's/early 90's timewarp of "hair metal". ("No shxt, Sherlock!" crys out every reader of the page). My glory days of guitar and backing vocals with Cousin It are now 15 years ago. Although it only seems like yesterday and I can talk a glass eye to sleep with the stories! In November 2006, I joined forces with Trevor in Sunfighter and I can still get around without a walking frame! That said, I enjoy many different styles of music, and will give anything a listen so............The other love - rugby. I finally managed an England trial and I have never worked so hard at any sport - for the England Touch Rugby squad. Unfortunately I didn't get selected to play , but I was very proud to be appointed Manager for the European Championships. I play touch rugby in the North Manchester leagues - come on the Magic!Other than Touch, my playing career is on hold until I get a job that pays enough that I don't have to work weekends.
