Promoting all styles of Guitar

About Me

Bexley Guitar Society was founded in 2006 by musicians Matthew and Suzanne Sear. Disillusioned by the divisions of genre the couple saw while learning the Guitar, Matthew and Suzanne’s aim, with creating the society, was to have an all inclusive policy of styles. Whether you play Classical, Rock or simply just enjoy strumming or just listening and talking Guitar, the society offers a friendly atmopshere to sit back and enjoy.Entrance is a nominal £2 on open mic nights and £3 if there is a special guest. If you wish to play simply come along write the songs or songs you wish to perform on the performance sheet...and it really is as simple as that! The mc for the evening will announce you and you do your thing! Also there will artists booked to paly fro the half of the evening so stay in touch. If you would like to be considered for a showcase evening please contact me via myspace. You are of course welcome just to listen and enyoy an enthusiastic atmposphere with people who love the Guitar. The society meets on the last Sunday of every month at Bexley/Sidcup Conservative Club, Station Road, Sidcup, SE England...
