The Ember*Ellas are Patika Starr & Christine Geiger. They represent a celebration of life through performance art, dance, and sisterhood. All you need is a pinch of cutesiness, a dash of lace & feathers and twist it with an edge of mischief & noir and viola, you have the spicy performance duo.
The Ember*Ellas performances include dark kabaret, hoop dance, stilt walking, fire theatrics, blacklight shows and caberlesque (their coined name referring to a fusion of cabaret, vaudeville & burlesque).
Their fire shows mesmerize audiences with a variety of acts including but not limited to; fans of fire, flaming hoops, poi spinning, fire costumes and fire eating. Each show is unique and can be created to fit any event. They are both fully insured for their performances.
The duet has performed along side musicians such as Huda Hudia, Evol Intent, Your Mama's Big Fat Booty Band, Laura Reed and The Deep Pockets, LA Riots, The New Familiars and local bands Spoonful Of Soul, Holy Ghost Tent Revival, Tasuma, Global Repercussions and Xenofunk.
Christine and Patika take great pride in their costuming. They spend many hours behind the scenes working, conceptualizing and putting together fantastic wears of art for each show.Through Performance, The Ember*Ellas hope to inspire their audiences, to develop and share their own unique and creative talents.
The Ember*Ellas are available for weddings, festivals, themed parties, night clubs, art openings, conventions, birthdays, corporate events, kids parties and much more.
