Here is the "Skateboard Mix" of the "Life on the Smooth" video. This video can be found in the "bonus material" section of a movie that was done by Stuck in Ohio Productions called, "Funday"
Twenty-six year-old Artist/Producer 2fly Keith Logan was born in Houston, Texas and raised on the red brick roads of Youngstown, Ohio. 2fly’s goal as an artist is not only to give Ohio its own identity in today’s music scene, but to also create a catalog of definitive work that separates him from others.
During the early 90’s, in the midst of the “Gangsta Rap†era, 2fly’s first personal encounter with music occurred to him at the age of 8, when his father, a pianist, bought him an alto saxophone. Logan would soon become one of the inner city schools’ premier saxophone players. At the end of his last year of High School, 2fly was named “Bandsman of the Millennium.â€
Fans embrace 2fly and his “Pimp Cup†wherever he may go. 2fly’s versatility is his best asset. Lyrically 2fly delivers on many different levels. He is able to make a seamless transition from commercial to conscious to experimental. He often prides himself on his “hook-making†ability. Fly claims that he is a producer, not a “beat-maker.†2fly’s crossover appeal has given him regional success among all ages, and all demographics. 2fly is often quoted saying “I do shows in the hood. I do shows in the suburbs. I even do shows with a live band for the old school and college crowds, but no matter where I go, the people show me love and they always want me to come back.â€
The popularity of the up-and-coming rapper/producer is continually growing throughout his community and on the Internet. Although 2fly’s creativity captures sound elements from many different genres, his main musical influences stem from the Westcoast and the Funk Era. 2fly says, “Dr. Dre, DJ Quik, and Battlecat influence my production. However, Parliament, Bootsy Collins, Snoop, 2pac, Andre 3000, and Ludacris influence my showmanship and me as a writer.â€
