Emcee Mortal FlowNick Rosson a.k.a Mortal Flow was Born in Chile. Coming to Australia, he found himself in a world that would not yet support all the music he would grow to love and eventually produce. In Sydney, where he was raised for the first 8 years of his life, he was exposed to a lot of Motown, American pop and Australian pop / rock.Relocating to Perth in 1986, he fell in love with Hip Hop, struck by its unique beats and lyrics, despite its lowered profile in Perth in the 80€™s.Listening to idols such as Das Efx, Public Enemy, KRS-one, Gangstarr and EPMD, he felt they was only giving a narrow perspective of the whole potential of Hip Hop. So Mortal Flow reached for his notepad and started writing Hip Hop till he dropped.Mortal Flow began battling at the Hyde Park in 98€™. His improvising against other MC's such as Downsyde, Matty B, Layla, Hunter and all the Silaboliks, gained him notoriety. Aussie Hip Hop was growing in Perth and growing fast.Pioneering act Downsyde took a liking to Mortal Flow, and they performed together with many other mc's at the Big Day Out back in 98€™ in a live battle act at the Lilypad. Now regarded highly in the scene he went on performing at the Greenwich Bar, the Red Sea, Schools, and many a party from North to South expanding his versatility into other genres including Grunge and Drum n Bass.Combining all collective skills in the music industry as an MC, Mortal Flow dedicated himself to the broken beats. Being a lover of Breaks, hip hop and drum n bass, he decided to approach Fine China and together they joined forces to form a group called Mortal Realistiks playing at clubs such as Ambar,Metro city,leederville hotel, tiga ils and Norfolk basement(butterbeats) and many a party.Fine China(Jon) and Mortal Flow(Nick) then got together to make a group including Jess,Josh and Oliver and Adam called Foreshadows Productions, which brings you events called ONE A.M. and Point Break tour 06.And 2007 for us will bring new and exciting idea's.
