Hello ! My name is Anders Thidell, i..m the man behind the more and more widespreading new guitar fret system / guitar necks named True Temperament. Brief history, I had a music group called Electric church between 1987-1999, playing mostly country-blues-rock oriented original tunes with a quite heavy touch of Hendrix soul mixed in, also including Arabic quarter tone scales. We also included Mecki Bodemark on spacey Hammond organ for a while, from Mecki mark men a ("late sixties group"). Anyway, after all i wanted to change things around on the guitar fret board to make it in tune to the Natural scale. Which led to my developed guitar neck adapted with an extended Meantone temperament, which temperament was used in the 15 - 16 th century, ok the fret pattern on the fingerboard looks very strange, but are a product of moving fret positions to correct positions ( fret intonation). And later i developed more easy to play ! temperaments ( octave divisions) as Thidell formula 1 which fret design is rapidly becoming popular among guitarists around the world. In fact, it feels just as NORMAL to play but very in TUNE !
