Urban 1:1 was founded in September 2003. The show began two days after Hurricane Isabel struck the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. Since the birth of Urban 1:1, it has been sweeping across Hampton Roads, VA and the entire world! Urban 1:1 plays national and local recording Hip-Hop and R&B artists. Some of the national artists include: The Ambassador, Gospel Gangstaz, K-Drama, and Japhia Life. Local artists have been holding this show together from the jump as well. This list includes the likes of Raiderz of the Lost, Sean Slaughter, Mona J., and Triumph. Urban 1:1 will continue to strive and be a staple of the Christian Hip-Hop movement!!!!Urban 1:1 aires Friday nights from 11pm-1am (EDT) on Positive Hit Radio-The Current.
