About Me

Howdy, folks. I'm a retired Naval Reservist who's a fan of both romance and science fiction. I wrote a history of early romantic fiction, "Old School Romance," published by Vintage Romance Publishing of South Carolina. This book deals with forgotten romance authors of old, such as Faith Baldwin, Emilie Loring, Temple Baily, Kathleen Norris and countless others. It can still be purchased from Vintage Romance Publishing by going to the Catalog section of their web page: www.vrpublishing.comI've also been a lifelong movie buff, and am fascinated by history, especially military history. All my interests are reflected on my Profile, which I use as a form of entertainment and education. I change this Profile either once a month, or every two months, depending on the themes I want to explore and share with others. And I also have a "serial feature" on the right side of this Profile which I change each week. This segment could be anything from cartoons to old TV shows. They're always fun and they always go along with whatever theme is explored on the Profile.I edited my profile at Doobix.com

My Interests

This month we'll look BOOK TRAILERS, an important innovation in publicity for writers: Book Trailers - COS Productions
Thanks to video sharing communities like YouTube and Vimeo, Book Trailers have become a valuable tool at getting the word out about books. Throughout the month of June we'll be featuring various trailers, both in this section of my Profile, or in my Serial section. Some were professionally made by companies such as COS Productions and others. And some are made by the writers themselves using different forms of softwear.

I'd like to meet:
