First Aid Kit is from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Together since 2002 they have released two albums; Mechanisms of Injury and Songs of Warships, and are currently in the studio recording their third album, slated to be released sometime in 2008. The band members are Nathan Fahlman (guitar), Neil Peters (vocals), Paul Robinson (drums), and Tim Sakellariou (bass).
Their music is heavy but unique, bouncing through themes and genres in an eclectic channel-surfing frenzy. First Aid Kit’s style has been perhaps best defined by one reviewer who dubbed it: "bacchanalic schizophrenicore".
