Fruity antics - deliciously deep house for the discerning disco dancer.Probably the longest running and most loved house night in Bristol if not the uk, fruity emerged out of the south wests free party and club scene of the early 90`s. In 96 fruity antics started its first regular night at club loco in Bristol and quickly became one of the most popular nights in the city, showcasing some of the best house dj`s locally and from around the world, playing music that explored every corner of house music and being recommended by mixmag, dj, venue and ministry magazine. Then came the move to thekla, a beautiful club boat moored on the Bristol riverside, fruity went from strength to strength, with regular capacity crowds. Fruity is about fun, fruit, and antics with a soundtrack of quality house music, The atmosphere is always relaxed and unpretentious, and more about having a good time than having a good outfit................After a decade of dj decadence and recently celebrating our tenth birthday, fruity is now entering a new chapter, we are back on fri October 6th for the opening night of the new thekla social with house music legend Ralph Lawson from the excellent 20:20 Vision label.
