About Me

Myspace Layouts at Pimp-My-Profile.com / Elfen lied

*sigh* Every time I write something here, I change my mind. I'm just not boxable! *fights evil nasty box which is trying to contain my fabulousness* I talk a lot, and can be really annoying. Also, I'm a bit dim. What more can I really say for myself?
If I'm going to do any blogging, I'll most likey do it on my LiveJournal. It seems like the place for it. Here is the add
http://till-tab.livejournal.com/
Read it, if you want. It'll probably give you a better idea of who I am than anything I write here.
Warning! From time to time, I feel the urge to send (often stupid and pointless) messages to folk. If you receive one, you may frown, and wonder what the hell I'm talking about, but I will almost certainly believe that I have just said something highly hilarious. I'm probably completely wrong about that, but don't worry - I mostly just send them for my own amusement anyway. I'm odd like that. Never-the-less, I do appreciate replies. They make me feel loved! Oh, and feel free to say 'hello' if you want to - I'll most likely reply, although it might take some time, because I can be kind of lazy.

My Interests

Reading, writing, films, music, comic books, manga, anime, anything by Serena Valentino and Roman Dirge (they're incredibly talented and they seem like total sweeties), artwork by FSC (amazing), anything by Joss Whedon (literally - if the guy spat upon a bit of paper, I would worship it - he is a genius and can do no wrong), sci-fi and fantasy, livejournal, chatting to friends on the internet, being in the company of people I like, meeting people, spending time with my mother (she's a darling, she really is) and numerous other things I can't think of right now.

I'd like to meet:

Serena Valentino, Roman Dirge and a few online friends! Also, Joss Whedon and EVERYONE he has EVER worked with (well, not quite, but you get the idea). And a whole heap of other people. I like meeting people! :)

Music:

Ah, music - the part of my profile I'm never satisfied with. Every time I try to pin it down, I change my mind. Basically I love music. I love all sorts of music. I particularly like singing along and dancing around like an ass, but that is only in the privacy of my own home, where I hold the mistaken belief that no-one can see or hear me (people - pity my neighbors!). My MP3 is my best friend (how did I ever live without one?), and I NEED more CD's!!! I should probably do one of these lovely long lists of people I like, but I can't be bothered right now, so I'll just mention that LostALone are rather great, and that everyone should buy their debut album, Say No To The World. Oh, and Komakino, too. I mustn't forget to mention them. That would be bad.

Movies:

Pan's Labyrinth, Serenity, The Princess Bride, Lady Hawke, Sin City, Spirited Away, Laputa Castle in the Sky, Big Fish, Whale Rider, Nightmare Before Christmas, Labyrinth, Strictly Ballroom, Romeo & Juliet, Moulin Rouge, Amelie, Casablanca, Shaun Of The Dead, Donnie Darko, Spiderman 1 & 2, The X-men 1 & 2 (I haven't seen the 3rd yet), Pirates Of the Caribbean 1 & 2 (can't wait for 3), Nightwatch, King Kong, The Lord of the Rings

Television:

My new favourite at the moment is Heros. I haven't been this excited about a show since Buffy. Right now, it refuses to fall into any sort of formula, which so many shows do by episode two, and the result is that every episode is fresh and unexpected. I love it! I also love...Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly, Dark Angel, Smallville, Supernatural, Wonderfalls, Dead Like Me, The 4400, Lost, A Town called Eureka, Greys Anatomy, 24, Boston Legal, Bones, Scrubs, Neighbours, Doctor Who, Death note, Blood +, Invader Zim (curse you nny-chan, for getting me addicted)

Books:

The earlier David Eddings books, The Wizards First Rule by Terry Goodkind (and the ones that follow in ever decreasing amounts to the point where I just can't be bothered anymore), Daughter of the Forest by Juliet Marillier (and the two sequels were rather good too), The Lake Of Dead Languages by Carol Goodman, Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky, The Sookie Stackhouse books by Charlaine Harris (fun), The Princess Bride by William Goldman, Stardust by Neil Gaiman, The Kingdom Of Shadows by Barbara Erskine, The Melancholy Death Of Oyster Boy & Other Stories by Tim Burton, Lenore by Roman Dirge (all of them), Johnny The Homicidal Maniac by Jhonen Vasquez, Gloom Cookie by Serena Valentino, Nighmares & Fairy Tales by Serena Valentino and FSC, Death note, Chobits by Clamp(so cute!), Fushigi Yugi by Yuu Watase, The Sandman by Neil Gaiman (all of them), V for Vendetta by Alan Moore and David Lloyd, Sin City by Frank Miller, and I can no longer be bothered to add to this exhausting list!

My Blog

Distractions

This fortnight, I have been mostly watching loads of fun anime to take my mind of the stupid, depressing, and totally pointless 'finding a job' course that the job centre has sent me on. Blood+ and De...

One night stands!

Tonight, my mother told me, admittedly egged on by a rather nice rioja, who I could and couldn't have a one night stand with. It was hilarious! And no, I won't be posting the results here.
