I am interested most in the acquisition of encyclopedia worthy quantities of information. In addition, I pursue other interests.

I guess I prefer music more on the organic side of the equation. Voices and acoustics are good enough for me. I like pianos, and I love the sound of a steel guitar. Otherwise, I pretty much listen to what a good American should; I like the blues, blue grass, jazz, soul, folk, and funk. Like Bob Weir, I dig “balls out rock and roll,†new and old. I like older school reggae, and a little soul conscious hip hop, and also some classical now and again. Though I begrudgingly acknowledge a few exceptions, I remain in stubborn opposition to that which is spun. I still go home to Jerry and the Dead, and I’m proud to carry that torch.
I've seen a few, though admittedly not recently.
I enjoy quality background noise, particularly that offered by PBS, Comedy Central, HBO, C-SPAN, the Discovery Channel, the History Channel, CNN, and MSNBC.
Any amalgamation of sextants, hemp rope, pantaloons, chamber pots, pewter, clay pipes, distinctions of social rank, archaic medicinal practices, black powder, tobacco twists, honor, and ... sodomy. Stir, and serve with a twist for Heaven on Earth. In addition, I read other sorts of books.
My Father is my hero, also Alexander the Great, Jerry Garcia, the Emperor Julian, Gore Vidal, Neil Cassady, Walt Whitman, Aaron Burr, and Geronimo (Not necessarily in that order, and among many others.) Honorable mention goes to the state of New Jersey, which was deemed ineligible insofar as it is not a person.
