I LOVE music of all kinds. It's ALWAYS been a part of me. I come from a family of musicians (my mother's side) and it was my dream for many years to be a professional vocalist. I was always involved in chorus throughout elementary, middle, and high school...had my big haired rock band shortly after high school too...good times! Then I found out I had one big problem: stage fright! Now I live vicariously through my musician friends : )
Hmmm, what else? OH...I also enjoy art, museums, learning about different cultures, etc.
Video games were A LOT of fun when I had the time! I'm glad I got out before I was sucked in to World of Warcraft...my family and friends would've gone months without seeing me!!
I'm fascinated by the human body and medicine. I am in constant awe of the development of forensic science and technology in general. I could talk for hours about the things I've learned and experienced, first hand.

I'd like to meet:
I'm here to network and reconnect with old friends...anything more is just a bonus. I have ZERO tolerance for liars & game players. Liars are cowards who may have the best intentions but are simply too weak to tell the truth, and thus end up doing more harm than good. I may not know EXACTLY what I WANT, but I'm quite sure of what I DON'T!
I'd like to think that chivalry is not dead. For those of you that don't know WHAT that is, I'd rather not hear from you...lol...and for those of you that THINK you already do, here's the EXACT definition: the sum of the ideal qualifications of a knight, including courtesy, generosity, and valor. I like a man who opens doors for me, walks me to the car, etc.
I'm real big on MANNERS, so if you're lacking in this area or need a refresher course, please do so PRIOR to going out of your way to get to know me. My values aren't going to suddenly disappear just because you're really, really HOT!
I also try to be very tactful, and most of the time, I AM, so if you ask a question which I am not ready to answer at that particular moment, yet you choose to persist, please do not blame ME if you are disappointed by my response. I don't dodge issues, I simply prefer to find the right words FIRST to address anything that's on my mind. I like to keep an open line of communication while maintaining MUTUAL respect. I see no reason for things to be any other way!
I like open minded, fun people who know how to have a good time but are still well grounded. HONEST, SINCERE, people who cannot fathom gaining anything out of hurting someone. Anyone that can carry a conversation without sounding like a total half wit or a drunken sailor! If you can make me laugh, we're golden! In my opinion, wit is ESSENTIAL in order to be truly funny so if your idea of humor is making other people the butt of your jokes, you're probably not very bright thus we have nothing to talk about.
People who believe beyond a shadow of a doubt that there is something bigger in this world other than themselves! Anyone that inspires me to be a better person or makes me feel that my life has been improved by having them in it!
PLAYERS, please spare me your nonesense...I don't care HOW good you are! I've played the game and I'm just as good at it, I'm just too old for the BS. I'm DEFINITELY a rocker at heart! I grew up listening to 80's hair/metal bands (Scorpions, Bon Jovi, Poison, Femme Fatale, Vixen, Def Leppard, Queensryche, Metallica, Dokken, etc) but I love all types of music: Rock, pop, jazz, techno, blues, hip hop, oldies, swing, ska, reggae, country...Yes, EVEN country!! Too many favorites to list but some include Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, Michael Bublé, Live,Fuel, The Racounters, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, NIN, Nelly Furtado (what a comeback!! go girl!!!), Imogen Heap (thanks, Jer!), and countless others! Love female artists like Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige, Christina Aguilera, and anyone who can really belt it out!! Country faves are Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Garth, Dixie Chicks, Jo Dee Messina, and of course, the one and only, Faith Hill!!
Movies:
Wow...where do I start?! All the Lord of the Rings, National Treasure, Wedding Crashers (LMAO in the first 5 minutes!!!), How To Lose a Guy In 10 Days, Hitch, The Notebook (1st movie that made me cry in YEARS!! Yes, I guess I really AM a sap!), Finding Nemo, Lilo & Stich, Shawshank Redemption, The General's Daughter, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Groundhog Day, Ever After, Silence of the Lambs, Pretty Woman, Romancing the Stone, Fletch, Goonies, and many, many, more....

Not much time for TV so AMEN for DVDs & Tivo!! I'm a total CSI Addict but only the original...CSI: Miami & NY were both MAJOR disappointments!! Also a big fan of Criminal Minds, Crossing Jordan, House, Monk, & Psych.
Books:
fiction...suspense/mystery...anything by Mary Higgins Clark is a total page turner! Also love fantasy, i.e. Lord of the Rings.
Heroes:
Christ...and that's not an invitation for a religeous debate or discussion of deep doctrine! Faith, to me, is very deep and very personal so consider yourself extremely lucky if we ever have that conversation! Being one myself, I've got mad respect for single moms that have found a way to juggle a career and a family life. I deeply admire men who are devoted to their women and/or families, and I mean DEVOTED...in for the long haul! and of course my parents, who have stood by me through thick and thin and mastered all of the above!
