My name is Alex, Currently playing guitar for one of Melbournes' hardest working Hard Rock band MEDUSA.
I've been playing guitar since I was 8yrs old and playing professionally since I was 12yrs old around the Melbourne circuit.My previous bands I've played with are-
Fair Warning , Cheap'N Nasty , Carman Suite , Bahragha ,De Arrow ,Risque' ,Mercy Rose ,Up..Up..and Yngwie (Tribute band),Anadiam ,Ratt Poison (Tribute band) and MEDUSA.I'm a collector of guitars and currently own about 42 of them.I have 7 Ibanez jem,11 Fender Stratocasters,5 Jackson dinkys,3 Gibson Les Paul,7 Kramer Barretas and the rest of them are customs or just different makes(check out my pics to see some of my collections)along with a few Marshall amps and a trusty Boss effect unit.
I use Dimarzio pickups on all of my guitars except for one which I use a Seymour Duncan "Sceamin Demon" The HS3 and the YJM pickups work fantastic with the stratocasters with no feed back what so ever...GREAT!!!My Influences have been and still to this day are - YNGWIE J MALMSTEEN,GEORGE LYNCH,STEVE VAI,JOE SATRIANI AND EDWARD VAN HALEN.
As for my musical taste ,Dokken, Jaded Heart, Firehouse, Nation, Europe, TNT, Harem Scarem, Jeff Scott Soto, Star breaker, Crucified Barbara, Iron Maiden, Dio, Von Groove, etc…..
