1.Paul Krugman. Although, I guess I already did meet him briefly. I suppose it's more that I'd like him to be my uncle. But I'd like to state that I respectfully disagree with his seeming choice of presidential hopeful.2.Carl Kassell... and Daniel Schorr... I wish they were my uncles too.3.Someone who I have not yet met. Or someone who I've met, but is worthy of meeting again. Or maybe someone who I've met before but just forgot that I met them and I really should have remembered them. But if I shouldn't have remembered them then I hope I don't run into them again. Unless they've changed. Or unless I've changed in a way that would be conducive to making the acquaintance a more positive experience.
Love the Wilco. Yes, yes I do.
I just saw "Sarah Marshall" and I was pleasantly surprised that it did not suck.Obviously I stand behind "No Country For Old Men" and "There Will Be Blood", but I also have to admit that "Ratatouille" was a damn fine movie to sit through on a plane. Also, "Wristcutters: A Love Story" was great. See it.
For cryin' out loud, how can people watch this crap?
