Sneakers Rock!
I'd like to meet:
Anyone who can make me smile,and keep that smile planted on my face indefinitely. Anyone who is funny enough to make me laugh. I'm not a fan of ignorance or any kind of racism or biggetry, so I would definitely not like to meet anyone who displayed those characteristics. Adventurous people who motivate and inspire me to be the same. People who believe in fate and destiny just as much as me. People who are either A)not religious, B)dont believe in god/religion, or C) believe what they believe but dont try and sway me into believing the same,like theyre part of a cult or something. And California...again.
Music:
Dave Matthews Band, Radiohead, Biggie, Reggae, Audioslave, Jimmy Eat World, John Mayer, The Shins, songs from my past, a handful of lillith fair singers(no, that doesnt make me a lesbian, not that there's anything wrong with that), I could go on and on and on and on, so I'll spare everyone.
Movies:
All cheesy 80's movies...including, but not limited to, The Breakfast Club, 16 Candles, Pretty Woman, Girls Just Want to Have Fun, The Sure Thing, and Back to the Future parts 1 and 2 only. Amelie, Shawshank Redemption, American History x, True Romance, Clue...this is another topic I could really expand on.
Television:
Well, sadly, one of my favorite shows was cancelled: Six Feet Under. And my other favorite show is on its way to its own self demise as it officially jumped the shark about a year ago: Alias. So so sad. Now I watch Sopranos and Greys Anatomy...and thats pretty much the only tv shows I watch...besides the occassional American Idol....its pretty much movies on cable that Im watching.
Books:
Anything by Sedaris, or any similar styles...let me know if you have any recommendations...also cheesy James Patterson novels, Anne Rice novels. Memoirs of a Geisha-amazing story. The Celestine Prophecy. Anything by Brian Weiss-past lives exist, and we've all met at one point prior....and we will all meet again!
Heroes:
My mom and dad......the truest soul mates I know and the most motivational people I will ever meet, and Cali.....one of the strongest souls I know.
