I am here for Dating, Serious Relationships and Friends

About Me

..

My Interests

..I like spending time with my Friends & Family...the people who are important to me. I love music, mainly classic rock...I couldn't live without it! The Internet - chatting to my friends online... I have another website and 2 fansites with my best pal Barbara aka Aaangeleyes. I love girls nights out in Newcastle, CHOCOLATE, sex, red and white wine, magners with pleanty of ice, gigs, reading, late night phone calls, good TV or films, laughing! walking, dancing, singing (even though I can't...my neighbours must love me lol), daydreaming, handbags! roses, candle-lit baths, art, honeypots, lavender, the countryside, the coast and of course Shopping! I'm a complete nostalgia freak, especially for stuff from my teenage years of the 70s, I love a converstation that starts 'oh do you remember...' and I love a bit of culture when I get the chance. I could spend all day in museums, castles and galleries as I love amazing and historical things. I would love to visit Dublin, New York and Machu Picchu in Peru. I do most of my own diy and I'm a reasonable cook and a great baker. I am trying very hard to get interested in gardening....as my garden desperately needs me to!!! I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT...LOVE, MY FAMILY, MY FRIENDS, SLEEP, A GOOD CUP OF TEA...AND A VERY GOOD HAIR CONDITIONER!.....................'MAYBE THERE WONT BE MARRIAGE...MAYBE THERE WONT BE SEX...BUT BY GOD THERE WILL BE DANCING!!!' (Rupert Everett ~ My best friend's wedding)

I'd like to meet:

Alas the person that I would have loved to have met is the late great Philip Lynott. I'd love to meet Stephen Fry and SWEEP! :o) I'm a working class Geordie ~ I hate show offs and flashy people. If you have been there, done that and have the T-shirt, well bully for you! You can keep it to yourself...as Shania Twain said "That don't impress me much!" I'd rather have a single daisy in an egg cup on the kitchen windowsill, than the biggest bunch of flowers in the shop, if the daisy comes from the heart! People matter...not things! Ok, so I'm a little bit crazy and sometimes life scares me. I'm also broad-minded, passionate, sensitive, have a warped sense of humour and occasionally I'm hot tempered! But the people who matter in my life however, tell me that I'm a good and caring person... I love them of course! :o)If you are a nice genuine person and you fancy a chat, just say hello!

Music:

Music is my therapy! I have eclectic tastes, but love rock the most! Thin Lizzy, Eagles, Thunder, Paul Weller, Free, Del Amitri, Gary Moore, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Def Leppard, Led Zeppelin, the list goes on...but most 70's rock, some 80's and some more modern stuff. I also love the Beatles/McCartney and love a lot of the 60's, 70's & 80's pop, punk, disco and soul music which I grew up with, and the influences of my parents ie: Sinatra & co and the Big Bands. I also like singer/songwriters type stuff, some country rock, mowtown, atlantic, and classical!

Movies:

My favourite movies are Educating Rita and Die Hard. But I love anything with Michael Caine or Bruce Willis. The Italian Job, Get Carter, Alfie, Sleuth, Zulu, Die hard 2, The Jackal, Pulp Fiction. The Fifth Element. I love Sci-Fi movies like Blade Runner (read the book too) and anything off the wall, disaster movies and ghost stories but not grisly horrors. I love the old Ealing comedies, British war movies and the Pink Panther movies and I also enjoy a good thriller or conspiricy. I guess like most females I like a good romance too, but prefer the old weepies like Wuthering Hieghts, Now Voyager, Brief Encounter, Rebecca, Casablanca, Waterloo Bridge & Breakfast at Tiffanys. I hate the term 'chickflick' I suppose I do watch them though and my favourites are Shirley Valentine, Beaches and Bridget Jones. Also like Jeff Bridges, Sean Bean, Colin Firth, David Duchovny, Richard E Grant, Toby Stephens, Hugh Jackman, Ray Winstone, Harrison Ford, Robert Redford, Julie Walters, Marilyn Monroe, Michelle Pfeiffer and Goldie Hawn.

Television:

Sci-Fi or anything off the wall, decective dramas, good comedy and intellegent quizes. The X Files, Starsky & Hutch, The Professionals, QI, Top Gear, University Challenge, Waking the dead, Jericho, Law and Order Criminal Intent, Heroes, Inspector Linley, Inspector Morse, New Tricks, Life on Mars, Sharpe, Auf Wiedersehen Pet, Northern Lights, House, Stargate SG1 & Atlantis, Star Trek Next Gen & Voyager, The new Dr Who, Torchwood, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, 70's & 80's British comedies, Morcambe & Wise!! Red Dwarf, Dinner ladies (or anything with Wood and Walters), Friends, Loose Women, Shaun the Sheep!!!, James Martin (yum) the Hairy Bikers (so funny), Coast (Neil Oliver yum), Dominic Littlewood, Mountain, and all Michael Palin's travel programmes. I miss the kids programmes that I grew up with ~ The Double Deckers, The Banana Splits, Tiswas etc. I also love period dramas my favourites being Pride & Prejudice & The Camomile Lawn. Having said all that, I often turn off the TV and listen to a CD or Planet Rock Radio or SunFM.

Books:

I am a chain reader...I finish one book and immedietly start another. I like all kinds of books of all genres and from all eras, from classical to the very modern. I have read 100's of books over the years and I'm a fairly recent graduate in Humanities and Literature. My favouite books are Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, Sunset Song by Lewis Grassic Gibbons, Hot Breath by Sarah Harrison (which I've read over and over and I still laugh right through it)...and I admit that I have read (and loved) all of the Harry Potter books! I have just finished reading 'Paddy Clarke Ha Ha Ha' by Roddy Doyle and I am now reading 'Man and Wife' by Tony Parsons (the sequel to 'Man and boy')~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 'Life beats down and crushes the soul and art reminds you that you have one' ~ Stella Adler

Heroes:

Real heroes are the people who make the biggest impact on your life, those people who are always there for you, and those you feel proud to know... therefore my heroes are my Son, my Mam & Dad, my Auntie P, and the best friend in the world Barbara aka Aaangeleyes.Using your mouth
Your sexual hidden talent is your ability to use your mouth. You are incredibly sensual, a great kisser and a seductive lover. You drive all of your partners crazy with your mouth.

You are The Moon

Hope, expectation, Bright promises.

The Moon is a card of magic and mystery - when prominent you know that nothing is as it seems, particularly when it concerns relationships. All logic is thrown out the window.

The Moon is all about visions and illusions, madness, genius and poetry. This is a card that has to do with sleep, and so with both dreams and nightmares. It is a scary card in that it warns that there might be hidden enemies, tricks and falsehoods. But it should also be remembered that this is a card of great creativity, of powerful magic, primal feelings and intuition. You may be going through a time of emotional and mental trial; if you have any past mental problems, you must be vigilant in taking your medication but avoid drugs or alcohol, as abuse of either will cause them irreparable damage. This time however, can also result in great creativity, psychic powers, visions and insight. You can and should trust your intuition.
