Hi All I am a 41 year old guy, a proud Yorkshireman, now living in the west Midlands (UK), barmy about my music, mad Liverpool FC fan and just a general all round nice guy. I can be quite opinionated, and am definately not backwards in coming forwards, and will always speak my mind...That being said, I don't purposely set out to offend. I like the simple things in life...good music, good food, good beer(or wine), good company and good conversation, and if I manage to get em all together, I'm a happy little bunny. I like to "blog", I find it theraputic, and also great for capturing my mood and thoughts at any particular moment in time..I have no time for the politically correct posse, and believe that they are, in part at least, responsible for the major meltdown of modern society. I believe in truth, honesty and respect and just want to see us all living together as one happy global family. There's enough shit in the world without everyone wanting to kill each other.Peace and Love!

Music, Music and more music...and the odd film or two also. Love football and good beer in good company, and like to "blog"...

Music:

Very very eclectic taste...70's Classic rock, Zeppelin, Free, Bad Co. The Who, Pink Floyd. Very Much into Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Audioslave, Stone Temple Pilots, and recently have a real thing about singer / songwriters, Ray LaMontagne, John Mayer, Ben Lee, to name but a few...and the daddy, Neil Young. I like a lot of the current crop of British bands..Keane, Coldplay, Snow Patrol, Doves, Embrace and I love proper , and I mean PROPER soul music, Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, and all of the old Northern Soul (I defy ANYONE to listen to Frank Wilson's "Do I Love You (Indeed I Do)" and not smile)I like chilled out acoustic driven music, Eagles, Del Amitri, Crowded House / Neil Finn and the like...Like lots and lots of different styles of music, just CANNOT be doing with bland manufactured pop and so-called RnB...does my napper in.

Movies:

Lord of the Rings, Goodfellas, Godfather trilogy, Pulp Fiction, Singles, Shawshank Redemption and of course...Star Wars!!

Television:

24, West Wing, Cracker, Without A Trace, Later....with Jools Holland, Waking The Dead and anything with Ray Winstone

Books:

Really like Michael Connelly at the moment...love Harry Bosch. Like to read Miltary History, especially WWII, and I love Stephen King

Heroes:

Too many to mention...but Eddie Vedder, David Gilmour, Robert Plant, Bob Geldof, Bono are all guys I admire immensely. Historically speaking, Leo Fender for giving the world the Stratocaster, and my late father, who taught me the value of respect and honesty
