hi i..m ant..39 year old metalhead from hampshire on the south coast, (if you know me from aol classic rock chat better known as wiv)been into rock/metal since about 12 years old 79/80 from listenin to the likes of quo nazereth elo queen in the charts i soon got the rock bug.. come 1981 was into likes of ac/dc motorhead iron maiden black sabbath etc this was the start what was to become my life, by 1982 still a kid i was going to watch iron maiden & motorhead, by now totally addicted to rock i had my first cut off & started to grow my hair.... a few years pass with some hazy drunken nights as a teenager & with clubs such as granny..s & the uni in(portsmouth) & chichester rock society & portsmouth rock gardens was to become a good few years the 80..s..along with many trips to london, donington etc.. i have been to many areas 4 gigs,the nineties was not such a good time 4 me.. metal was in decline.. lots of the clubs had hoodie kids into nirvana & chillies & while these bands were o.k... the scene was not 4 me so usually just went to gigs with freinds rather than rock disco..s.. 1999 saw the return of metal!! i reguarly go to festivals every year such as dynamo graspop (belgium) & wacken & bang your head in germany............... away from rock music am a keen motorcyclist with a suzuki gsxr600, also a massive football fan of portsmouth fc & hants cricket come on u hawks!
