Taj En’Phiniti is the fifth child of ten children, born and raised in Dallas, TX, to Mrs. Jacqueline W. Davidson. Since the tender age of three Taj En’Phiniti singing, writing and dancing has touched the hearts of all who welcomed her melodic gift of singing. Her talents would eventually open doors beyond her bed room walls, church choirs and school projects.
Taj and her siblings began a national recording gospel group called “All For Christ†(A.F.C.) where she was one of the lead singers. One of A.F.C.’s many accomplishments was there opening up for the “Dr. Bobby Jones Show†which proved to be just the beginning for her. They shared the stage with CeCe Winans, La’Shawn Pace, Pastor Rance Allen, Pastor Al Green, the late James More, Pastor Shirley Ceasar, Pastor Darryl Coley, Beverly Crawford, Detric Hadden, Bishop T.D. Jakes and many more.
As Taj grew into a young adult her gifts enhanced; it was then she began recording a solo project as an R&B artist. Taj has been fortunate enough to perform with the likes of Dark Child, Bone Crusher, 112, Adonis, Sean Garrett, K-Fam, Keith Sweat, Bread and Water, Will “Bâ€, L. Rock, and many others.
Taj earned a main character role in the stage play “Good God A’ Mighty†written and directed by Lolita Snips. This would eventually lead to her being chosen for main character roles in the national stage plays “Man of Her Dreams†& “There’s a Stranger In My House†written and directed by Donald E. Gray (where she toured for 2 ½ years). Taj also was cast for a roll in “Men Cry In-The Dark†written and directed by Gary Guidry & Je’Caryous Johnson. She has taken on rolls from the ages of 16 – 60. Her beauty, acting skills and gifts of song and dance allow her to play virtually any role.
Taj has shared the stage with the likes of Richard Roundtree, Clifton Powell, Allan Payne, Jackie Harry, Keisha Knight Pulliam, Shirley Murdock, Ralph Tresvant, Musiq Soul Child, Latavia Roberson, Christopher Williams, Carvin Winans, Isaac Carree, Monifa, Tameka Scott, Trina Braxton, Jackie Clark, Just Jean, Donald Gray and many others. Taj is currently working on her solo project while continuing to further her career as an actress.
