Check out the radio. Look at the Television. Hip Hop is here to stay. It's a music and culture that is shaping our world and the way we view life.
All day long we get..."Whip it, cook it, flip it, ship it, drink, shoot, kill, hustle, and baallin!" It's appealing but its not all true. Still if people are willing to listen to Hip Hop we have a much more potent and powerful message to give. The Gospel Of Jesus Christ.
How does the Church reach the Hood? How does the Church reach Hip Hop?
And then not just reach em.... but teach them what the Bible has to say about their life, their Lord, and their purpose!
We'd like to provide culturally relevant yet biblically solid resources to equip the Church to change an urban world that has been overlooked and forgotten.
This is where we see Reach Records and ReachLife colliding to take urban and hip hop ministry beyond beats and rhymes. We want to equip, teach, train, and provide SOLID resources from some relevant cats... to some Godly men and women who are training up a generation of Christ followers. We know the culture, we know the heartbeat of the streets, the lies the culture portrays.... but our voices only go so far. So we want to use our gifts... to equip others in ministry.
