About Me

Here's me:
I'm 25. I like playing records. I helped bring dubstep to the midlands when I was a student there and still sort the dubstep room at Detonate, Notts. They do big things with big lineups. :D
I've helped make programmes for the BBC (shouts to MAH) and worked for Rinse Fm (the big one) and Ammunition doing my bit for the UK underground.
I like a lot of different styles of music and don't think twice about mixing it up. Dubby disco, jackin' chicago acid, afro, 2-step, detroit house... there's a time/place for everything.
I've been lucky enough to play with some of my heroes. A highlight was Robert Hood, the guy who invented minimal techno. And I mean proper minimal detroit reductions, not this effete tip toe nonsense.
Now I'm teaming up with some friends to organise a series of events that invite musical pioneers behind niche sounds to collaborate live with contemporary acts who are taking that sound into the 21st century.
Basically its a muso night masquerading as a party.
