I started out in my bedroom where, fuelled by pirate radio stations in south London such as Delight FM, Flex FM, Upfront FM etc, I became obsessed with the sound of the London underground dance music scene known as 2step. I sticks to the guns i did when I was 15 years old, being one of those very rare DJs who doesn't forget about the back of his crates.. constantly digging in them to uncover forgotten riddims and tracks that bubbled the garage scene up 8+ years ago.
I am a DJ mainly involved in the dubstep scene. I has played at the top nights, such as the flagship dubstep dances FWD and DMZ, alongside DJs such as Skream, Digital Mystikz & Loefah, Benga, Goth Trad, Distance, Geiom, Cluekid, & Braiden. I have also played at nights such as FWD + RINSE.FM @ The End, Why Not? @ Ministry of Sound alongside 40 of dubstep's finest alongside N Type, Youngsta, Headhunter, Chef, Boy Better Know, Wiley, Joe Nice, Scientist & Luke Envoy.
Recently i have been getting booking beyond dubstep, taking the 2step and dubstep flavas to parties like YOYO @ Notting Hill Arts Club, Night Slugs @ Redstar, Another Music = Another Kitchen @ Proud Galleries, Donuts @ The Tube & Vice Magazine Party in Zurich.You can hear me cooking up the past & present with the future of London Underground music every Sunday 6-8pm GMT on London's React FM 99.7 which is also available to listen to @ http://www.react.fmI have a mothly residency at Drumz Of The South@Plan B in Brixton. The night is on the 1st thursday of every month.I am a resident at Dirty Canvas, held at venues around East London such as Rhythm Factory, 93ft East.. Catch me playing there most times its on. I have also hosted room 2 at Dirty Canvas with Standard Place twice.I am co-founder of House Party, a free space party we ran in East London squats/warehouses playing dubstep/grime/garage/house/hip hop/ragga/r n b. Guests we have had down to play include The Bug, Kode9, D1, Alexander Nut, Joker, Plastician, Anti-Social Entertainments amongst a whole host of others.
