BLACK, BRITISH & WOTLESS - we know we shall win as we are confident in the victory of good over

About Me

I love music, my family and those friends which I consider family. I have an affinity for bass / low frequencies and people whose mental HDD has information which I've yet to discover. Geeks are the salt of the earth, not these faux geeks (Lupe Fiasco and all those SP Dunk wearing Vanity Cadets) but those beautiful people who are deemed socially inept yet have so much to offer us thanks to their almost autistic dedication to specific subjects.I get excited by producers/lyricists that push the envelope or sidestep the status quo.
Along with Plastician, I run Terrorhythm records - we're primarily a grime and dubstep label. As flag bearers of the scene we recognise our responsibility to only put out high quality releases. Grime and Dubstep have enjoyed a love affair with the press of late and personally I feel that it's clouded many - especially within Grime. Let's not get caught up with what others think of us and concentrate on developing as artists. This is our thing, when I skank out at FWD, DMZ, Dirty Canvas, Sidewinder...or walk down the road with my MP3 player - I feel alive and realise the insignificance of the layers and layers of shit we have to endure to function within society. This music is powerful and we hope that Terrorhythm can lay some slabs paving the way to bassline promised land.

Shout out to those in the media that do actually care, you are appreciated.
By day I'm senior press officer at Zzonked. We are a cross level PR company that work releases at press, radio and club from all major and (usually more interestingly) independent labels. Our clients include Planet Mu, (C-Swing), Devils Gun, The Nextmen, Osymyso, Teedra Moses, Lil Jon, Gorillaz, Lady Soveriegn, MIA, Virus Syndicate, Pendulam, Tayo, Skitz, Deekline & Wizard Roots Manuva, Part 2, Death From Above 1979, Franz Ferdinand, Mystery Jets, Roll Deep, Colossus Dead Disco, Testicicles, Marc Mac, Mark Ronson, Raw Fusion, Damian Marley, Kanye West, Mark B, Gnarls Barkley, Vikter Duplaix, Mad Mats, Stephen Malkmus, Metronomy, J Dilla and a whole lot more besides.
I'm always on the lookout for exciting talent so feel free to contact me with your works if you feel you have something you can offer - We do require that you have distribution in place. I'm always happy to help with advice about the industry or if indeed you have done an on-spec remix of one of our clients send it through, I'll always be honest and if I feel it's strong enough I'll submit it to the relevant label. Likewise, if you're looking for work experience in PR then give me a shout.
Straight up and down, dubstep and grime are the biggest things to happened to UK music since the guitars renaissance. Hold tight all the man (and gyal dem) that can say they used to rave out at Sun City - KABRAPPLE!! Remember its not an East thing its a UK thing, don't let you're own pig headedness implode the scene - postcodes aint shit, as long as it's a postcode and not a zip-code.

I'd like to meet:

An intelligent, introspective, self respecting, wierd, buff girl thats into athropology, lacanian discourse and wants to have sex listening to Digital Mystikz' 'Nevaland' and "New Life Baby Paris", Calenda's 'Forever' and Macabre Unit's 'Juggernaut' in warm and surreal surroundings.

I would not like to meet myspace waste cadets

Myspace Waste Cadets (Dictionary definition):
One who uses myspace to post scantily clad pics of themselves so that they may attract comments like "you're so beautiful baby" and "all I can say is wow" (I've actually seen this) underneath that waste girl/man picture. Obviously too weak to fight against the respect depricating tirade that is Heat, Now, Closer, 50 Cent, they think that the people in the class B, C and even D list are still celebrities. Waste Cadets often believe they have "so much more depth" than the next girl/man via the fact they have heard a Roots, Jimi Hendrix or Al Green album.
Contrary to what they think, although often obsessed with the very veneer of black culture, they actually know very little of the subject (wether they be white, black or other).
The funny thing about myspace waste cadets is that they don't recognise each other in the opposite sex and often get excited when speaking to each other, firmly beliving that they are "special".
You can often find waste-cadets in waste-clubs like Chinawhites, Pangea et al smiling whilst paying ludicrously over-inflated prices for drinks, thinking "this is what people that have made it do" before returning to their 9-5's so they can pay off their credit card debt.

If you are any of the above you are probably so steeped in denial that you don't realise. At any rate, unless I feel like taking the piss out of you I don't want to meet you.
