Ok off on a motivational tangent there for a sec... but back now to why I am here on myspace....

Again it is really for two reasons.... The first being I want to expand my influence of fellow successful people. I am a firm believer that you become who you spend your most time....

And the second more important reason is I want to help those of you who are looking for success to achieve it, by simply being a friend with you..... a friend who can help, guide and possibly steer you in the direction of the activities that are required for anyone to become a success..... whether that is financial or otherwise, the principles are always the same.

Who The Heck Is This Rob Corbett Guy?? And How Could He Help Me?

Well... lets start with present day and work backwards......

I am presently a Father of 3 great kids.... soon to be 4, as my beautiful wife Jennifer is due in April of this year..... (another girl, which makes 2 boys and 2 girls, perfect!)

I love life and I love spending time with my incredible family...... And I get to spend a lot of it with them.........

You see I own a few internet businesses online where I teach people who are struggling in the MLM industry how to use the internet to create massive organizations, I am also one of the top distributors in an MLM company I use this to help others to achieve the same level of success and the incredible life style I now have.....

My first two weeks with the company I am at I earned over $4200 and went on to hit the $15,000 a month mark within 8 months.

I became one of the top 10 income earners in my company and also one of the top 2 income earners in my country.

I was also invited to become a founders elite member.

Combined these businesses have allowed me to live life the way it was meant to be lived. Providing me with the time freedom to travel, sail to the beaches of the world, and spend time with my great kids, while earning the type of income I desire to be able to live this type of lifestyle.

Sounds pretty awesome eh? (my Canadian accent coming through)

Well it is!

But it was no walk in the park. But rather a nice bumpie roller coaster to get me to where I am now. I will admit quite shorter then most, and that is because I took the time to study successful people and then modeled myself after them.

I am sure that you like myself have once been told to go to college and get a good paying job so you can live the American 40 40 40 Dream Plan, which by the way I have found out turns out to look like this.....

.... You end up working 40 hours a week, for 40 years of your life and finally retiring, but on 40 percent of what you could not afford to live on in the first place. (WOW sounds like fun)

I started out on that route, but thankfully early on I realized it was the wrong route to take. So I made the commitment to study successful people and then model myself after them.

Did The Dream Stealers Get You??

They did get me for awhile..... You see there are dream stealers ALL around us. Everywhere we turn from the time we start school there are dream stealers everywhere. We end up being conditioned early on with a lack mind set.

People who tell us that you need to "find a real job", or "that's not gonna pay the bills", or how about "you need a college degree, so you can get a good paying job with benefits", or my favorite "only a job can provide your family with security"!

So for awhile I conformed to the dream stealers and went along with their plan for my life. Sound Familiar??

And wow did I hate it...... I could not stand the supposed security of a job.... or working for someone else...... of having a boss tell you what to do..... or how much you can make..... or how many weeks off a year you can take...... or feeling like a criminal for calling in sick (when I really was)..... Speaking of sick, just writing this is turning my stomach!

I tried every job out there...... probably had 30 jobs before the age of 30... I just kept searching and searching for that one thing that would make me feel like it was all worth it.... Kept looking for that job that would give me a sense of accomplishment....

I simply would not settle,like most of the population does....

And I am serious I tried it all.... from bank loans officer, to fuel truck driver with the teamsters..... To business development director (twice)......... To sales rep....... To Officer in the Canadian Navy! (just to name a few)

I Was ALWAYS Attracted To The MLM Industry

There was always something about the MLM industry or network marketing that seriously appealed to me.

I believe it was that saw it as being the only industry that could provide the true freedom in life that I sought.

No where else could you earn a six or seven figure income AND have all the time in the world to enjoy it!

So like probably some of you.... I tried it with one company.... then i tried it again with another company and then another and another and so on it went.

And I always failed! Every single time.

The worst part was I was the perfect enrollee.

I did whatever my upline told me to. I did it all!

I was determined.

I made a list of everyone I knew, had home meetings, hotel meetings, did three way calls, posted fliers all around town, dropped off fliers in people's mail boxes, put notes on cars in mall parking lots, called cold leads, ran ads, purchased booths in malls and tradeshows.... the list goes on and on.

Sound familiar?

I did this with one company and then another, always thinking that the problem must be the company I was with.

And the most I ever made was $31 a month.

Even though I knew deep down that I could do this.... it got to the point that eventually I had to take some time off from the industry to get my head right about it.

But I Am NOT A Quitter

One thing about me is when I get my mind set on something I will figure it out, I will stick it out and make it happen.

I am definitely not a quitter.

Have you ever heard this before? "When The Student Is Ready The Teacher Will Appear"

It is uncanny how true this statement is..... If you are not ready then the right opportunity, mentor or system will not show up..... It is like it is God's way of testing you, or preparing you for your opportunity.

So after struggling for some time in the MLM industry using the traditional warm market methods to no avail and even though I knew deep down inside that there had to be a way to become successful in this industry, I began to lose hope fast, and started thinking that I would have to give up my dream of becoming wealthy and get serious about the daily grind of a 9-5 job in order to support my ever growing family.

Around this time I ran into an old friend of mine from our university days..... he was a school teacher by trade, however I noticed very quickly that he was not living the life of a school teacher.

Not even close...... This guy had an incredible car, one that was not in a teachers budget......... He traveled the world on almost a weekly bases...., He lived in a very very nice home, and had all the time in the world to do what he wanted to do, when he wanted to do it...... He was also one of the most upbeat, and happy people I had ever met......

It was obvious that he was making much more then I was...... and since he was a teacher by trade I was seriously confused how this was possible......

Long story short, I asked him what he was doing and he introduced me to some legends in the MLM industry. We are talking guys who are making millions of dollars a year in this business.

Well he was working very closely with them.

Well I obviously started thinking that this was it, this was what I had been looking for, having the opportunity to work with these legends was my ticket.

So I got started right away and went to work...

And My Journey Began.....

Once I decided this was it and that I was determined not to miss out on this opportunity to learn from these experts, everything started to come together quickly.

My first check, only 2 weeks into this new venture, was $4215.50.

Wow! I had never made that kind of money in 2 weeks!

And it just took off from there.

On my eighth month in the business my check was over $15,000 that month and life was great.

I was living the life of a rock star. Traveling where I wanted, when I wanted.

Having the nice things in life, etc.

But Then Something Changed...

Now you would have thought with this kind of success that I had
made it.... well I sure thought so.

I thought I was done... I thought it was easy street forever!

However an interesting thing happened.
I literally ran out of people to talk to in my warm market and on top of that no one I
enrolled had the same success with their warm market that I did.

And as a result my business started heading in the wrong direction.... yup, backwards!

Not good!

Now what?

Well I had already done the cold market stuff when I was involved
with those previous companies. (calling cold leads, running ads, posting fliers, etc)

So there was no way I was going back to that!
The 9-5 job sound better then doing cold market stuff.

I just knew there had to be a better way to get my information in
front of people....

So bit by bit I made my way to the internet.

I was already doing some internet marketing and it was working, so I figured why not use the internet to build my MLM business?

I could not figure out why the majority of MLM'ers were not using the internet...

Or if they were using the net, why they were doing it ALL wrong.

Oh well their loss was my gain.

I just knew there had to be a way to generate massive leads on the internet!

I just knew there had to be a way to get people so interested in what I was doing that they would call me.

I just knew I could build an even stronger organization using the internet, it just made sense.

I just knew deep down that the internet was the answer to creating a massive MLM business and finally allowing me to live the life of my dreams.

Well gang, those four ideas turned my business upside down.

I went to work on figuring out how to build my MLM business using the internet, it took me a long time to figure it out, but I hung in there and developed a marketing system that is easy to implement and works incredibly well and as a result my business is
rocking like never before!

As a result the people I work with, their businesses are all rocking!!

Once you master the online mlm strategies, you will never go back to the old cold market methods again.

You see for some insane reason, the Network Marketing industry teaches people nothing about marketing!

Gang you can't build a million dollar business without marketing! Period!

It is ignorant to think otherwise.

ALL of the top income earners in all of the companies in this
industry are masters of marketing, and you must become
one too if you want to have that same level of success!
