Influences: This band has a wide variety of influences. We all have different Musical Backgrounds. I alone have liked music on each opposite end of the spectrum for a long time.
With few exceptions there is not a type of music that I dont like or at least cant get into if I have no choice but to listen. The exception is Glam Hair Metal. This music made women dress like dudes. Too much demin man. And Def Leppard, Winger, Firehouse, and Slaughter shirts on women with Jeans? From the back you couldnt tell if you were looking at a head banger or his girlfriend. (Unless she had excellent curves)
Rap has been done. Im tired of songs about the exact same thing. Not to gun on anyone elses taste. But honestly, how many songs can be written about:
Expensive rims, Shoes, Teeth, Sex (i dont mind that so much), Weed, or Killing people. Enough, its been done, find some new material.
I do listen mostly to bands like Dashboard Confessional, Panic at the Disco, Truth in Fiction, Counting Crowes, u2, Billy Corgan, and too many others to name.
I do like Jazz and Blues as well. You cant go to New Orleans and not love the music they play down there. I like Ella Fitzgerald, Billy Holiday, Louis Armstrong, ect.
Also like some stuff that most guys dont like. Ani DiFranco and other indie people.
Im sure Im forgetting tons of favorite bands. But there are a lot to list.
