Among all, piano organ and guitar has always evolved my schooling days but they never took flight. I really hated to read then. Bass guitar & percussion were my first instruments which I studied with love and patience. It was shortly after where I took up classical double bass and explored beyond the boundaries of rock & classical and landed in jazz land.
A couple of years later, I landed myself in a fulltime music career in the national military band, Central Band. I played percussion for parades and double/electric bass for concerts and official functions. Also doubled as drum major for this period before a near-death accident that disabled me for 4 months. This time of my life as a "soldier" lasted for 7 years.
I've done almost every genre as a bass player... Symphony orchestra, chinese orchestra, military band, big band, jazz trios, pop/rock bands, musicals, etc. ... and looking forward to more engagements.
I'm currently resident bass player for Thomson Big Band and Cafe de Amigo.
Love & God Bless.
