Vaseline Towers is a result of a variety of wisely abandoned projects. From latex clad, pole dancing in dodgy east end bars, to "trying-really-hard-to-be-clever" Electronica released on now defunct labels. It's creator, Pheecle Debbry will sometimes collaborate with Pearl Clutch and friends; whoever at the time might be feeling so inclined. The first song Vaseline Towers worked on, entitled Control , saw ex Frank Chicken; Yumi Hara Cawkwell in duet with Pearl and was described by a member of a piano sextet (who shall remain nameless) as the Peters and Lee of the 21st century! Not content with such acclaim, the Towers went on to tear the disco dance floors apart with a tribute to Kylie . Pheecle convinced us that she would do Ms. Minogue proud with her vocal performance of U Drugged Me & Then U Fuct Me , and we certainly think she lives up to her promise! After such a glittering whirl it would not be long before they were to feel the balmy trade winds of the Caribbean caressing their salty cheeks and decided it was time to write an exhilarating rhythmical romp, evoking all the fiery passion of a sizzling salsa! And, as it so happened, a transsexual porn actor friend from the favelas of Sao Paulo was making quite a name for herself in Miami . Hardly surprising, knowing the sort of tricks you'd find in her arsenal! Thus, Nuts On Sluts was born and the girls felt they had no choice but to offer this little gem for Ricky Martin to cover! As they await his eager response, Vaseline Towers are down The Joiners , again and planning their Pacific Rim tour for 200wotever...
