Hello everyone, my name is Kona and I am a Rottweiler mix. My mom lost her 11 ½ year old best friend named Kody a month after I was born. He was a Rottweiler too and she loved him very much. Mom decided to wait 6 months before she would even think about getting another dog. So, it just so happens that I was in need of a home about that time. I had already had 2 owners before I found my forever home, when mom came to pick me up that special day. I was a total spaz and had no manners and was a chewer (of furniture and arms) when I came home. Mom took the time go show me the ways and now I don’t have to do anything destructive to get her attention. In fact, she showers me with affection all the time, so this is a way cool place to live.I have 3 cats and 1 rabbit brothers and sister. My favorite cat brother is named Smitty. I kind of grew up with him and now we are best buddies. He was born with a bum leg, so it had to be amputated. He now has 3 legs and is lightening fast! I love going to the park and anywhere in the car. I love visitors and I will sit on your lap as soon as you sit down. I love playing in the creek, chasing anything mom throws and hanging out with my doggie friends. My mother loves to brag about how cute I am. She knows that she drives anyone nuts with stories of me and my animal family. But mom is very proud this nutty herd. P.S. I love my mom!
