Welcome to my MySpace from a space/place down under .... About me ~ still evolving hopefully... As someone once said ~ "Beyond the basics of who you are, the rest is mostly creative use of abjectives"... Photography, creativity, nature, my dearest family and friends, travel, music and work are my special joys in life... A full and interesting life so far ... "a typical example of a middle child" ... ~ passionate, com~passionate, loyal, stubborn, spiritual, visual, private, independent, rebellious, "Irish-ish" temperament with a very dry sense of humour and a social conscience... creative, a thinker, a dreamer, a doer, an idealist and a realist...a bunch of contradictions really!... maybe it's the weird mix of Celtic/Viking ancestry?? ... ...... ...

My Interests

Many, many things ~ but photography is my greatest passion ~ Though I love black and white, I mainly shoot in colour 'coz it's a colourful world out there ~ especially here in Australia!:) ... these are some of my pics... Music:

I love music ~ it's universal and can be so emotive (and healing)... have diverse tastes...

Movies:

Lots of faves including all the Hitchcock black and whites ~ good drama and comedy, arthouse ...

Television:

ABC, SBS, good docos, Planet Earth series, quirky British comedy, bio and history channels...

Books:

Especially love leafing through good photography books... and enjoy autobiograhies (it's a great way to learn about history)...

Heroes:

Dan Stidham. Fire men and women, emergency workers, nurses, as someone once said "show me a hero and I will write you a tragedy" ~ generally those who maintain their dignity, integrity and courage whilst going through difficult circumstances... ...people who make a positive difference for the benefit of others.... and my late father......
