It is a tremendous opportunity for me to use this site to share information about the practice of Nichiren Daishonin Buddhism. I retired July 2, 2006. It was at that time that I fully embraced the practice. A few months later, I attended the New Members Conference in Ft Lauderdale, Fl. One of the topics of discussion at the conference (Turning Poison Into Medicine ) hit home and made a lasting impact on my life and the way I live and interact with others Nichiren Daishonin states: It is natural that we face problems, challenges, setbacks and disappointments in life. But faith in Buddhism means that when such things occur, we chant daimoku with persistence and determination. This gives rise to wisdom, with which we can move things in a positive direction.POWER OF NAM MYOHO RENGE KYO Present effects are due to karmic causes from the past. However, future effects arise from the causes we make in the present. It is always the present that counts. It is what we do in the present moment that decides our future; our past causes do not govern our future as well. Nichiren Buddhism emphasizes that no matter what kind of karmic causes we have made in the past, through the causes we make in the present we can achieve a brilliant future

My Interests

When your determination changes, everything will begin to move in the direction you desire. The moment you resolve to be victorious, every nerve and fiber in your being will immediately orient itself toward your success. On the other hand, if you think, "This is never going to work out," then at that instant every cell in your being will be deflated and give up the fight. Then everything really will move in the direction of failureGandhi-King-Ikeda: Community Builders (1 Of 3) Gandhi-King-Ikeda: Community Builders (2 Of 3)Gandhi-King-Ikeda: Community Builders (3 Of 3)Introduction to Nichiren Buddhism What is Nichiren Buddhism?
