About Me

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”~Marianne Williamson
Nam-myoho-renge-kyo...nam-myoho-renge-kyo...nam-myoho-renge- kyo...
"This above all: to thine ownself be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man. Farewell: my blessing season this in thee!"
--Hamlet, Act I, scene iii.
Bodisattva nickname in my Tuesday Night Women's Lotus Sutra Group: Bodisattva Ever Communicating .
Currently working on the great American novel, a collection of short stories, a screenplay and hilarious TV sitcom as well as other client projects and other literary projects that I have been toying around with. Completed short story about addiction and recovery for a client.
Funny things about me:

**Had an Australian Silky Terrier as child named "Snowball"--the only white on the dog was it's eyes.(The dogs are black, grey and tan).
** Although, I am a big Babs fan, never wanted to be her, would like to work with her some day. I did really want to be an Ikette (No joke, I really did-- I thought Tina and the girls were cool...long before Tina became a Buddhist). Being a member of our chapter Myoho Singers has fulfilled that fantasy. Still need to work on my choreography (being half serious).

Beethoven's Appasionata. Debussey's La Mer. Chopin's La Polanais and Les Sylphides....etal.

"Music is the divine way to tell beautiful, poetic things to the heart."

----Pablo Casals

However, no eccletic list of music would not be complete without the musical genius and superb talents of the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin, the Queen of Rock and Roll Tina Turner, Natalie Cole and the melodious voice and brilliance of Barbra Streisand. I am sure I have forgotton several others.

As the Rolling Stones would say, "It's only rock and roll"...

Movies:

A true movie buff. Love several film genres, especially those which have an impact on society and show the human condition. Plan to list eventually and add some great film quotes.
