Lee Truesdale is an accomplished, and well respected Singer/Actor Who's credits range from the Broadway and Concert stages in the United States and abroad, Including several television appearances. As a singer/actor some of Lee's credits include the title role in the Broadway musical "The Wiz", "Grease", "Black Nativity", "DreamGirls", and "Mama I Want To Sing" in the role of Brother Calvin, which was tailor made especially for Lee. In 1996 Lee was awarded the prestigious "Black Heritage Award" for most outstanding performance in a musical, "The Gospel Bandwagon" which was written and produced by Lee. As a recording artist Lee has topped the charts with such hits as "Trust Me" & "Keep In Touch" on the MicMac Records Label. He has also graced the stage as a background vocalist for such artist as Diana Ross, Stephanie Mills, Chris Walker, The Weather Girls, and Alyson Williams just to name a few. Lee was last seen on the small screen in the critically acclaimed A&E television series "100 Centre Street", as well as several television commercials for, "Crystal Light", "Southwest Airlines" and "Great Adventures Theme Park". Lee has also appeared on the "11th Annual R&B Awards", as well as "Motown Returns To The Apollo". Upon his return to the recording studio on the ClubHouse Music Enterprise label, you can look forward to his new CD featuring the most anticipated "Memories" & "Is There Love In This House" which also features recording artist Keith Fluitt. Lee continues to tour & perform live with his R&B group "The ScreamBoyze" & his gospel Choral "The Diva's Of Praise". Lately, Lee has been extremely busy during his mandatory performing hiatus, as he recovers from a lengthy illness. He continues to build his new Theatrical Production Company "G.L.T. Arts & Entertainment". As well as sharing his expertise as acting and vocal coach, being founder of "Vocal Design Therapy". Lee credits his ability to continue to keep the faith throughout his proffessional and personal life to his spiritual family @ "The Lords Church" Bronx NY, and his parents in the gospel, Bishop Eric A. McDaniel & First Lady Subrenia McDaniel. And for his pastorial teachings under his senior pastor @ his home church "The River Of Living Waters Family Worship Center" NYC, Pastor Vanessa Brown. It's been rumored that Lee is without question one of the elite in the Music & Theatre Industry. And soon to be one of the most talked about Speakers and Exhorter's of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
