Some kind of benchmark....people tend to appreciate music / expression relating what goes on around them.'Chit Chat' for instance, was written on a very bumpy tube train in the rush hour whilst capturing mobile phone phrases that have become the new clichés - I realised that a whole new language had evolved and had to write about it.'Tagliatelle Song' and 'Believe In Your Dreams' incorporate nonsense lyrics ..were a real grin ...collating & writing the lyrics.'Tonight Thang'- is a saucy cynical funk based gobsmacker that will challenge anyone, to slot into it a genre. 'I'll Live for Today- focus's on September 2001 and how perhaps, the perspective on day to day life has shifted for many.''Bawdsey Ferry' and 'Gentle Giant' stem from Suffolk and the surround, whilst 'Over and Over' is a new dimension of love song. 'You Have' -a haunting cadence of chord progression , & hard hitting twist of lyrics / melody based on the vocal legacy of Eva Cassidy........'We Aren't Leaving ,'inspired by Leaving Las Vegas. 'Rain A Falling " was inspired and written after sitting under a leaking roof in an East London tobacco warehouse ....and along with 'Ain't Right', are songs encouraging people to get out and accomplish in life what THEY want to achieve, cause it isn't a rehersal.
