Founded in 2004, YUM YUM is a collective with the soul aim of pushing house music to the fore in Melbourne, and more broadly the soul influences which have heavily influenced these sounds.
We believe there is and always will be a market for these timeless sounds, and the cycle will always come back around - but to keep it sustainable we feel the need to educate through creating a brand and experience which people can identify with including nights, events, radio and mix CDs all featuring the highest quality in soulful music.
In 2004 YUM YUM started weekly at Platform One and amongst the best locals on offer also featured the cream of overseas including Barbara Tucker, Kaskade, Deepswing, Chris Lum, Copyright, MFR and Samba La Casa. This Year 2008 YUM YUM is back and residents Chris NG, Eddie Mac, Pauli Cutin, Gianni V, Costa & Nic D'Stef are bringing the soulful sounds coming to an event near you.
