boxing,(lousy at it) writing,(pretty good at it) drinking, (practise makes perfect) have been doing zines for some twenty years or so... the pace has slowed down somewhat now though... currently there's Sprak! - the zine for the discerning sleazoid/splatter freak/drunken fool plus Wham Glam a zine about the 70s and my childhood musical fascinations... and funhouse... music, words, thoughts - a battle against the mediocre. also dabble in noize tapes just for the fun of it... working on a couple of manuscripts, have a book or two out thru paroxysm press.
all my heroes are sadly dead
from jazz to noise... billy eckstine to sun city girls i like far too much music for my own good - costs me a fortune and my taste filter occasionally lapses... so you'll find me buying whitesnake, municipal waste, climax golden twins, bernhard gunter and sun city girls all on the same day. sweet t.rex sabbath whitesnake biohazard kid creole blood sucking freaks springsteen michael schumacher sun city girls gg alan bindig willy de ville motorhead stooges (60s/70s not the old cunts they are now!) volvox costes boozoo chavez dead boys richard hell trace adkins charlie daniels ... and the list goes on and on and on - drifting heavily into redneck lounging country - allman bros, hank and his boys, joe walsh... And i'm always on the look out for the greatest voice in jazz music ever - Billy Eckstine on vinyl. You got some? let me know.
