About Me

I am Simon T Diplock. This is music journalism with heart and soul.

Moderate Rock has been up and writing for nearly three years now. There will eventually be a website but for now there's plenty of sharp words in the blog above.

There's CD reviews from Alien Ant Farm to Zao .
There's live reviews from Sigur Ros to Will Haven .
And there's interviews too, ranging from chinwag with new kids on the block :( to a before-they-were-famous talk to Panic! At The Disco to a night out with the thoroughly nice chaps of Johnny Truant .

There's more arriving every week too. Click 'older' on the left hand side of the blog page to go back and look at everything, even if some of the oldest stuff is proper rubbish.

My Interests

More Moderate Rock .

Grey clouds are rolling in, the temperatures are dropping, winter is coming. And when the seasons change we all need more music to shiver to. Below is a Top 8 to soundtrack the icy mornings, the slow days and the long nights. Just don't get any snow on your speakers.
