King Furnace

"Save yourself from the candy splashes"

About Me

King Furnace are a law unto themselves: spiky, melodic, twisted, proggy, alternative pop rock developed in isolation on a disused airfield in Oxfordshire, with impulsive and hell-raising live shows that offer a tantalising glimpse into their warped world.

Spotted recently playing with the likes of The Reverend Horton Heat, Little Fish, Johnny Panic, Frank Turner and Mystery Jets, King Furnace have also been working feverishly on their debut album and filming music videos at Shepperton Studios.

King Furnace will be coming to a gig venue or festival near you soon. Meanwhile, you can download their debut single, ‘Crash’ from iTunes and sign up to their mailing list for the latest updates.

"Thank heaven for King Furnace." - www.oxfordbands.com
"Charged, melodic and talented stuff. With fat riffs. Check them out." - BBC Oxford
“More thump than a wrecking ball and more attitude than a pit bull on steroids” – TSM Radio
"I recommend doing whatever you have to do to see them live.” – www.coolnoise.co.uk
"They're from Oxford, they sound like XTC meets blues rock and they make me dance all funny-like. How can that possibly be bad!?" - Black Listed website
"There are many bands out there vying for your attention but I would recommend you try King Furnace as they have an eclectic style, rather than just another Coldplay/Arctic Monkeys clone. **** " - www.getreadytorock.com

“KING FURNACE rock. They rock in a spiky, impassioned, hook-laden and highly-charged fashion, tearing up blues, metal, funk, pop and prog into a hairy old hellraising party, and if you can’t swing your pants to that, you dead, bro’” – Nightshift Magazine
“The revelation was King Furnace. If you remember the rhythmic jerks of The Knack's My Sharona then it might give you an idea of King Furnace's style. They are just so tight musically that it's shocking. Not a note or a percussive hit out of place. And the nervous energy of the singer was a wonder to behold. The music is perfect for jerking around to. When it is delivered with such verve and confidence in a dark club, you realise you are in the presence of something special.”
