2007 Summer Tour (movie short made by Jon Rajewski, and filmed by many many people):
hi. i'm jon.
ok...what to write here?
there is a 'w' in my last name that should not be there. it's silent. i could have changed my last name to something catchy and cool for all the hipsters, but why? grandpa is probably proud of me, wherever he may be.
i'm just a 21 year old kid in the middle of michigan's mit who writes songs. i cannot deny the incredible urge to create. i didn't get to pick - it just kind of happened. it's undoubtedly who i am.
i have two albums. the first one i've basically shelved, the second one debuted on new model records (LA/Nashville) in 2006. i'm working on new stuff all the time from the back room in my apartment, and some of what is on the player above is new. if you can, try to listen to them with headphones on because i think it sounds better.
so anyways, i thought i'd be informal here and personally thank you for stopping in to listen. your support goes farther than you may think. xo, jon

"The true wonder of Rajewski lies in the comfort and relaxation of his live persona. His banter, short anecdotes and most importantly, his self-proclaimed "anti-folk" will have you saying his catchphrase, 'the 'w' is silent,' all the way home."
State NewsOn playing live: "Jon played a beautiful set of songs; his voice is smooth as silk. He has some great, thought-provoking lyrics too, “we all live in a fishbowl next to the sea†– genius."
Casey Shea (The Undisputed Heavyweights) caseysheamusic.com"My friend hooked me up with some great music...and one of the artists he turned me onto I've really been enjoying. His name is Jon Rajewski and the disc I've been listening to is called 'Still Yes.' I've really enjoyed the arrangements and the blend of instruments on this. There are some wonderful string arrangements and mighty tasty drum beats and percussion on this as well. Give it a listen if you get a chance."
