About Me

Get a scroller sign at http://www.mycustomprofile.com.com!Profile Edited by MPS MySpace Editor 2.0It is my wish that this space will allow you, in some small measure, to get to know me and my family. My friends call me Carlos. I was born in Brooklyn, New York on the September 17th and soon after moved to Puerto Rico where my family owned a shoe store. It was great growning up by the beach. After six years, we moved to Manhattan, New York where we lived on the lower east side which some call, "Spanish Harlem."I was born to hispanic parents. My father is Puerto Rican and my mother is Mexican. Living in Puerto Rico allowed me to develop a fascination for the ocean and for dolphins. They are my favorite mammals. Looking at the horizon, I wondered what it was like to stand where the ocean met the sky. The sound of the ocean made my blood burn, burn for adventure. Maria and I have been married for 22 years and we have four kids. David, 21, Brian (Comment List: the good looking Soldiers next to my wife), 18 and twin girls of 12, Jennifer and Brittany. David and Brian are in the Army as well. David just complated AIT and is stationed in Fort Sill, OK and Brian has completed Basic Training and will starting AIT after the new year.I am a First Sergeant in the United States Army. I'm a US Army Ranger currently serving in my 20th year of service to the Army. I love being a soldier. Duty, Honor, County are not words at the end of a punchline to me. They are words that I have spent a lifetime defending. Freedom isn't free, it is payed for in blood. The blood of every soldier that was and is being spilt on every foreign soil this nation has sent soldiers into battle. It is for my family and the people of this great country that I am ready to make the ultimate sacrifice and do pay tribute to the flag of my fathers.
