About Me

Hi, I'm Skippy the cat!!! I haven't been on myspace lately because I was busy helping my human parents plan their wedding. It was a tough job, but I was a big help! They were married October 7, and I'm very happy!! Thanks to everyone who visits my page, and I hope I'll be able to catch up with everyone soon! I love all the cats on myspace!!!

Back to my old about me... My age is a little off on here, even in cat years. My apologies. I'm really about 3 human years old. I was saved from a shelter in Brooklyn, NY and now live in a Manhattan apartment with my adopted human parents, Jess & Dan. I love them. Please excuse my English, I'm a cat & sometimes it's hard for me to type with these paws!!

My Mommy is very busy at her job and she hardly ever lets me use her computer lately!! But we both want you to know that we think about our cat friends all the time!! I miss you all!!!

I still love making new cat friends!! Meow!!

My Interests

Biting, sharpening my nails, DJing with ipods, listening to music in general, watching Degrassi, patrolling pigeons, sleeping in my catbed, running after balls, jumping on things, climbing through window blinds, sitting in boxes, licking people, purring, death defying stunts, acting in movies & my best friend Krash Kitten!!

I'd like to meet:

I've already met the pigeon outside my window but I would like to physically touch it, so I guess that counts as someone I'd like to meet.I'd also like to meet all the wonderful cats on myspace!!

Music:

Yes!!

Movies:

Movies don't interest me that much, unless I'm in them! Or if one of my cat friends like Huckleberry is in them, then that's good too!

Television:

Lately I've taken a bit more of an interest in TV. If my bed is facing that way, I might watch for a little bit. I can't decipher what show is what really though. I know my Mommy likes Project Runway, America's Next Top Model, Degrassi and more.

Books:

I can't read that well since I'm a cat. I also have zero interest in reading the NY Post newspaper that my Dad reads everyday, but sitting on it is always good. Once in a while I'll glance at EW so I can see what new music is getting good reviews, I need my DJ rotation to stay fresh.

Heroes:

Cats: Toonces from SNL, Bill Clinton's cat Socks b/c he made it to the White House, Data's cat Spot from Star Trek, Mommy's deceased catbrother (and my Uncle) Socks (R.I.P.). I recently heard about a cat who dialed 911 to save his owner (it was in People Magazine). That cat sounds good too.
Humans: Anyone who rescues cats from shelters. I love you all. Nothing but love for you!
