About Me

Henry Buttons Tenyue is an accomplished and highly sought after session musician. He is one of the most highly respected and hardest working hornsmen in the reggae business today and his distinctive trombone sound can be heard on many roots & dub mixes from the likes of Gussie P, Ruff Cutt, Jetstar, Stingray, and Mafia & Fluxy labels. He is recognized internationally as Matic Horns, working with artists from the past as well as the present, such as Aswad, Maxi Priest, UB40, Finley Quaye, Soul II Soul, Robert Palmer, Chrissie Hinds, Suggs, Simply Red, Freddie McGregor, Gregory Isaacs, Dennis Brown, The Mighty Diamonds, Misty in Roots, Marcia Griffiths, Mikey Dread, Frankie Paul, Lloyd Brown, Ken Boothe, Levi Roots, Alpha Blondie, Ijahman Levi, Sugar Minott, Barrington Levi, John Holt, Tippa Irie, LKJ, Dennis Bovell, Horace Andy, Sanchez, Culture, Luciano, MC Janik, Michael Prophet, Earl 16, in fact, the vast majority of Reggae artists (mainly from Jamaica and the UK). Over the past few years, Matic Horns has been performing and touring as an artiste in his own right, as well as with other artistes in reggae, pop, and other musical genres and has been received with great enthusiasm on both sides of the Atlantic, as well as in Africa and Asia.
